JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” submits infrastructure terms of use projects for Regulatory approval
According to the Energy law, paragraph 44 part eleven, in the course of making the rules, previously there was a public consultation of the project rules.
On 8th of March, 2016, into force comes 11th of February, 2016, Parliament approved amendments in the Energy law on natural gas market opening in Latvia, and JSC “Latvia’s Gas” division, which results in registration of a new establishment in the Republic of Latvia establishment register JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” on 2nd of January, which in future will execute transportation systems operator and storage systems operator duties.
With the changes in the Energy law, from 3rd of April, 2017, Latvia is obliged to comply with European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 715/2009 (13 July 2009) for access to the natural gas transportation networks and storage.
Rate project is prepared in accordance with these Public services Commission’s Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the Regulator) approved documents:
